We could lose a game 0-2, with our offense shooting the puck 15 times over the entire game and this sub would still blame the goalie. Our defense could let the opposing team shoot the puck 45 times in LT/Hill’s face and if they let in more than one they’re trash.
Wins are only ever credited to the guys scoring unless it’s a shutout. Goalie is such a thankless position in the sport.

I think the Avs had like five shots in the third period and none in OT and one was from the middle of the ice and none of them were difficult, except maybe the one that got by him and hit the post.
The team in front of him got this win, that first goal was bad and he still had an .875 save percentage.
He did nothing to help his case with this game. At this point, Thompson (who has had his share of issues this season also) should be the game one starter based off their form going in.

He had a rocky start but he brought it back the longer he was on the ice. There was some not so good saves, sure, but Hill also made some damn solid ones that let us catch up and go into OT. In my professional, unprofessional opinion, dude came back too soon and he’s hasn’t gotten his mojo back after playing while still injured (especially with how easily he keeps getting re-injured any time he’s knocked over).
Hopefully this win will help boost his confidence and then some real rest and PT in the off-season will get him right as rain for next year. We saw it with LT–he was able to get extra rest and he got a couple of solid wins in and he’s been a BAMF ever since. Idk about anyone else, but I’m going to stick with team Reckless Optimism.

Which of the three goals did Hill score to get it to OT?
Did he score the OT goal?
Edit: You Hill enablers/apologists are baffling.
That first goal Hill let in was Swiss cheese level. The rest were on the defense in front of him.
By making this post, you’re just as bad. Didn’t even know this was a thing until you decided to dedicate a post to this.
Be better, man, this is just childish.
