  1. Like Pinder says, it's tough to determine. I can see why it was called a penalty at full speed on the ice. But it doesn't look like a suspension imo.

  2. Should have been a minor for charging imo, I think he's lifting off. But no excessive speed, elbow is tucked, and that reverse angle that nobody seems to be showing but you guys pretty clearly shows that the primary contact was actually hip/side to chest/shoulder.

  3. Dirty hit again and then uses the concussion history to turtle again. Maybe if you have an issue with concussions you should stop cheap shotting other players. Absolute scumbag of a player that is only defended by Flames fans because of the jersey he wears.

  4. The larger question is why the ref allowed Bowness to challenge and request a review of the call?

  5. kicked out of the game for hitting. Seems like the league is pushing for no hitting and no fighting. Just by the way they throw out game misconducts and penalties like candy. Its a clear move towards less contact "European" hockey.

  6. Something has to be done with people standing in front of the goalie or beside him in the crease. Come play offs when the score matters, the offending player is going to get c ranked!!!

  7. There is 1 questions no one talks about. Why are players putting themselves in positions to get hit. Its not pee wee hockey folks,

  8. dirty hit from a dirty player, cant follow through with your elbow straight into someone's face.

  9. I was at the game, Pros was in the box and assessed penalty as the replay played on the screen. The crowd went wild…ref after maybe 10 seconds or so talked to the Winnipeg bench as well as a few players then assessed the 5min + game.

  10. The issue of him never fighting and covering up everytime he does this I can guarantee is old with his own teammates.

  11. Not quite clean, but I could argue that with the incoming crosscheck to the arm he lifted his arm in defense and the consequence was a higher hit than wanted… WPG guy broke his stick crosschecking the calgary player bracing for the hit, and not a light xcheck either. The resulting stick break could have allowed the arm and elbow to raise higher as well. Again not clean, but I don't think it's any more than a 2min minor, benefit of the doubt on intent.
