Hard to be upset with a much needed point. Isles may still clinch tonight if DET and WSH lose in regulation. Certainly possible.

Rangers finally pull their souls from their bodies and get a win over the Isles. No rest for the weary. They’re gonna have to beat Ottawa if they want to keep the #1 seed over Carolina who just keeps winning. No matter what happens I’m ready to move from Mika. He just never shows up when you need a goal. He’s paid like a 1st line Center.

Mannn why did NYR have to win?! I really want to see a first round between these two, but that won’t happen if NYR wins and CAR can’t catch up. Now NYR has to lose their next two so that CAR has a chance for division leader. I really really do not want to see a CAR Vs NYI matchup again for the millionth time and see CAR beat up on the Isles again, it’s boring.

Couple things, first the post the islanders hit was not a shot to post , Shesterkin deflected it to the post , and the late panarin goal was after 3 straight icings by the islanders and finally panarin out there made the great off the face off shot and that was the key .. also it still looks to me that Zibanejad is not recovered yet ..
You should not get a point for losing. Isles making playoffs but have less wins than the Devils who deservedly are not in the playoffs.

I hope they meet in the playoffs and the Islanders come out on top. Then Panarin can enjoy the city during the summer since he decided to play for the Rangers instead of the Islanders. Yes I’m still holding a grudge.

Yet another OT loss for the Isles, one of my top 5 favorite teams, but their amount of OTL's (16) is ridiculous, and messes around with the Pens, along with the 2 other teams + the damn Flyers playing spoilers, not to mention the Pens themselves. I was pulling out my hair during the game tonight, they didn't play too bad, but Ned and Jarry both gave at least 4 weak goals out of the 6….Heinen had his revenge for being put on waivers with that EN goal. It's going to be one hella battle to the end, they better clinch it, because last year's loss against the Chicago Nobodys on game 82 taking them out on the last game was an insult. At least they're trying now (4 goals).
Glad for Roy though, he really did make a difference when taking that job, he noticed Varlamov wasn't just yet a fully backup goalie and used him wisely, he's a winner, just like Pat.
I don’t care if we win the Presidents trophy but I don’t wanna pull a 2022 Mets and choke the division. Would prefer to win the east and not play Tampa round 1 as well
