[Chris Johnston] Lane Hutson has signed his entry-level contract with the Habs after having his NCAA season end with BU. He’ll officially join the team in a couple days when it swings through Detroit

Makes sense, considering he isnt a canadian citzen he cant play IN ottawa that quickly since the immigration/Visa stuff wouldnt be set up

Lets hope its set-up for the final game at home

April 12, 2024, will be remembered as the day humanity officially entered the Bone Zone

Here’s the thing: I’m not going to change the possible lineup combos for the final 1-2 games vs. Detroit. Here’s what I projected:

    *Hutson* – Savard

    Matheson – Barron

    Harris – Kovacevic

You need a guy that has veteran experience and IS capable of welcoming newly signed players. David Savard is **perfect** for that role and he did that with Kaiden Guhle and Arber Xhekaj.

I don’t think he plays. Detroit twice and they’re fighting for their playoff lives. You really want to put a small dude who hasn’t practised with the team against that? Not worth the injury and Hutson *does not* need to play a game to burn his first year ELC

  5. Why waste one year of rookie salary to enter a loosing team anyway? I get that he is ready, but at this point why not wait until next year?

am I the only one feeling nervous about Lane stepping directly into NHL action? I don’t want him to get wrecked.
