  1. I think both Pahal and Miromanov could develop into 3-4 defensemen.
You have to let them play to get better..

  2. Hanley stabilized Andersson's play who makes gaffs time and again. I'd be keeping Hanley, Kylington, Miromanov, Pachal over Andersson who should be used as trade bait.

  3. I think Pachal is currently (probably) an #6 defenseman currently but could still develop into a #4/#5 defense man in a couple years. He is probably ideally suited to a third pair but might be able to handle a second pair with a strong enough partner.

Miromanov feels more like a third pairing power-play specialist. I think there is the potential to be more than that, he can likely develop just by playing more at the NHL, but I think his development at this point will mostly be related to decision making instead of size or skill development.

  4. A little scab picking here, but wouldn't it be nice if the NHL protected teams from having draft picks like aDAMN Fox from not signing? Can't talk about young defenders in our system without this one making my blood boil

  5. I think Conroy will swing something unexpected either during the draft or free agency. I'm not sure if he can get both a number one C and a top pairing D but this is going to be the most interesting offseason in quite some time.

  6. Man yall are harsh on Pachal he's only 24 and this is his rookie season we are watching… I've loved what he's brought to this team in a 5D spot. He's been much more consistent and reliable than Miromanov has, and he's shown good chemistry with Kylington.
