I lost respect for Boomer, he is such a baby. First, it was unintentional. Zibanejad looked twice before heading towards the bench, did he not notice Pelech was there? Then when he gets close to where he sees a player, he looks at the play and doesn't pay attention. His fault and his alone.
Second, rags didn't come out any different, the Islanders went into what had killed them all year when they got the lead, prevent defense. Let teams walk in, keep the play in our zone, and look to just clear. They need to keep their foot on the pedal. They have blown so many games because of it. Listen… hockey is a dirty game. Rangers are going to have to rise to it. Nobody cleanly wins a Stanley cup. You have to work for it. You have to do nasty things on that ice. Rangers are going to have to rise to the occasion. Nobody wins a cup off of skill alone. I've seen the rangers physically dominate plenty of games this season, this was not one of them. If the rangers want to do the thing, they have to do the dirty.
