   Great news. Dominoes falling one by one…only 2 left to sign. $2.65million is about what I had expected Dickinson to sign. Glad they avoided arbitration…those things can get messy. Hey great job, Darren (sp?) and Clay! Thanks for posting!

   Wish it was a 4 year deal, but it's a reasonable cap hit for a 3rd line centre. At least we're not seeing 3 and 4 mil contracts+ for bottom 6 forwards. Benning may be learning.

    I think it won't be long now before Huggy and Petey are signed. It will be right down to zero room left in the market cap. Hopefully they will both be happy with the terms. I like the Dickenson signing, gives him a raise of $1.5 M from his last contract. Bring on the season!

    Benning has done a good job at wheeling and dealing in this off season. He's been one of the most, if not the most active GM. And of course, he needed to be after last season's disastrous showing. The Dickinson contract looks like one more feather in his cap. On paper, the team looks like it should be a big improvement over last season's edition. Of course it remains to be seen how it all will play out on ice. Can't wait till training camp starts. Should be some intriguing battles for roster spots. Especially on D.

    Great contract. Dickinson as a solid shutdown center will hopefully allow horvat to really find a good scoring touch. I've always thought horvat could be a 40 goal guy if he was so busy taking d zone faceoff all the time

    We as fan's will have to what all the New guys bring to the table but I know Benning better get the two done soon or the Canucks could end up losing them
