The Dallas Stars fueled by three power play goals take down the Colorado Avalanche by a final score of 7-4! The Stars pick up a new single season record 26th road victory of the season and now have a five point advantage in the central division. Thomas Harley, Wyatt Johnston and Jamie Benn had three point nights in the win. Joey breaks down the win and the impressive effort shown by Dallas after a tough loss in Chicago the day prior. Defensively the Stars played with a lot of grit led by Chris Tanev who played his best game as a Star. Esa Lindell and Miro Heiskanen had big nights as well shutting down a really good Colorado attack. Joey also gives his thoughts on Nils Lundkvist, and how last night may be the reason Jani Hakanpaa returns to the lineup in the postseason. Speaking of the postseason, in the final segment we take a look at the possible first round scenarios as the Stars try to win the West and get home ice advantage throughout the Stanley Cup playoffs.

What a HUGE and GUTSY win for the Stars! Especially, after hearing that they flew into Denver during the day and not the night before because of the weather. Wow! The magic number for clinching the Central Division title is 4.
Hey Joey, with Jani H. And Dadonov both being projected to be ready to play by the playoffs. How do you think PDB should handle them in the line up? The team is red hot right now, and both Nils and Stankoven both are playing really well. Plus our line 4 has been dangerous and I don’t know that he should tamper with what is working right now.
Man, this team knows how to keep us on the edge of our seats. First, the choke against the Hawks, making us think they were gonna go into Colorado and lay down another flat performance and only be up 1 point with 4 games left. But, no…..they went out and laid it on the Avs!
Otter was a little shaky, but Colorado is an elite team and have those studs on the top line, but that's all they got. When Dallas is on their game there isn't one team that can hang with them.
They have 4 lines that can be deadly and would be a top line on any other team plus, have some snipers on every single line. This team has determination and resiliency like no other. Right when you think they are dead in the water, the rise from the depths and scre 3-4 goals in a flash.
The Stars are never out of a game and i feel that if we can make it out of the West, there won't be a team in the East that could hang with us. đź’«
I don't believe that was a choke against the Hawks. I just think they were just gearing up more for Sunday and looking past the Hawks.
I truly believe that they are just gearing up for the playoffs and saving as much energy as they can for that cuz they know they'll have to bring it up to a next level.
Otter is a problem He was off his mark all night against Colorado and let in 4 goals a better goalie would have stopped.
