I know I shouldn't theoretically root for wins as a sharks fan at this point, but this was a special one. Awesome to see the once junior shark record his first goalie win with his mom there, but the icing on the cake was seeing eklund get that hatty on a beautiful shot. This is what makes me keep watching sharks hockey no matter what
Sharks fans needed that.
We know we suck, it's not some surprise when we hear a fan from across the country tell us.
We're paying the price for 20 years of high end play…
But eventually we'll be back.. and William Eklund is the first of our "new era/hope" prospects to really play everyday.
It's gonna take some time, but the future is bright. (Most people don't pay attention or know anything about the sharks, prospects beyond a sentence or two they see in passing)
