The Wild dropped a critical game against Colorado at home as they fell 5-2 to the Avs on Thursday night. Colorado led from the onset as they took a 2-1 lead after 1 period and expanded it to 3-1 to start the second. Goals from Vinni Lettieri and Declan Chisholm were not enough as Justus Annunen made 44 of 46 saves to give the Avs the win. The Wild host Winnipeg on Saturday for their next game.

Keep that fourth line in tact for next year lucchini move that line to the third line give them more ice time that was a nice shot from Chisholm from the point the defense need to do more of that Freddy and Johansson gotta go bye-bye this team goes to the box they gave up a goal they’re always taken two steps back Stata, two steps forward tough to win in this league when you score 2 goals or one goal gotta have more goal scoring you have to be back jacking all the time They AVS burn you every time.
FYI-NBA play in tourneyment is 8 plays at 7…winner is the 7 seed. Then 10 plays at 9…loser is out…winner plays at the loser of the 7 at 8 game & the winner of that game is the 8 seed.So under that formula-itd be LA at Nashville to decide the 7 seed…the loser would host the Minnesota at St Louis winner to determine the 8 seed. Im an Av fan,& work at Ball arena for Avalanche & Nugget games(& other stuff)-But I had to fill you in-cuz the NBA play in is a somewhat confusing,convoluted deal.
Basic gist-if you finish 7th or 8th…you get 2 chances to win 1 game.If you finish 9th or 10th-you have to win 2 games to get in-& at least 1 will be on the road.So it's actually a much tougher road if you are 9 or 10 instead of 7 or 8. It would be insane in the NHL-especially as random as 1 hockey game is.

I liked Beckman – Khusnutdinov – Gaudreau line. Except for Gaudreau, he seems to lag a bit. Also sad seeing Kaprizov approach 40 goals, he feels like a solid 50 goal guy.
