  1. Lavi has completely won me over. I was luke warm on bringing him in. Everything I’ve seen since his first press conference at training camp has built up my feelings on him.
Really like that he’s often in the room (not always) just before the Broadway had is passed on, to say something to the group after big wins.

The Hockey Terrorist wouldn’t do that.

    But Live, Laf, Love, Lav

LOVED THIS. As a dad whose twins got a puck from Fox in Philly during warmups it’s the best souvenir hands down.

I was dying when he notice after he tossed it there was a little kid 😂😂😂

And then caring about hitting the kid with it . . . until he realizes he doesn’t have time to care anymore.

“Shit did I just hit that kid in the head with a puck”

-Lavi for a solid 3 seconds

  8. Lavi is legit but look at what Knob has done with the oilers, also very impressive.

The guy’s a masterclass in leadership everyone should aspire to.

He protects his guys while staying honest and giving constructive criticism and positive feedback.

He fosters a culture of competitiveness, while enabling players to grow and improve.

He’s balancing hands-on coaching to delegating to his coaching staff to giving space to players to figure things out.

He’s got both the active coaching/strategy chops, as well as being able to foster a positive locker room/organization culture behind the scenes.

Gives respect and gains respect from the players, as well as the fans.

And then tack on the friendliness/niceties/passion he shows behind the bench.
