  1. Hakstol doesn’t play the kids. They’re protecting Wright from a coach who’s getting fired in 3 weeks. With regular playing time he’s got a good chance to be ROY next year

  2. Shane wright is irrelevant until he plays a full NHL season. I believe that his attitude and work ethic needs to improve

  3. KK screwed the Habs over and never really delivered the goods. Yes he was right to sign for 6M, but he did not have to bad mouth the team after that. He should have said it’s business. So yeah good rideance. He can still become a good 3rd center.

  4. So basically Wright has a similar PPG in the AHL as Joshua Roy… 5th round pick 150th overall. Not bad, or not good?

  5. It would be interesting if the Habs were to offer sheet a Canes player again. The players association obviously wanted the offer sheet angle for the players, and the teams owners agreed to it, so why is there so much bitterness when a team uses it?
Anyone know why it goes over like a fart in church?

  6. I trust that Kent Hughes knows more about drafting hockey players than any fool on the web. I'll even add: Hughes knows more than all the sportswriters bundled together.

  7. Settle Crackhead fans will never see Shane play high-level hockey. Wright has no drive, and is too cocky. Same for KK.

Every interview with Slafzilla, he says "I want to get better." That's why he's on this team at this time.

  8. From what I've been told, KK didn't have the kind of attitude that Slafkovsky has. I'm not mad at KK for singing with Carolina, I think that the Canes' owner should not have let his bruised ego influence hockey decisions. As far as Anderson is concerned, I'm not going to assume that he won't bounce back.

  9. Well Habs are not doing better with Dvorak contract in terms of amount but definitely I will pick Dvorak over KK because of shorter contract.
Habs will probably not going to sign Dvorak, so basically 2018 1st round draft is a waste.

  10. Hoping Habs trade 4th/5th Rd Picks to get Shane to play with Dach and Roy. Boom there's your new 2nd line.

  11. At the time, it was the right decision to make taking Slav over Wright. Putting up numbers in the CHL is one thing. Proving yourself in the NHL is another and have "heard" that SW's father is a bit of a pill to deal with. Kent Hughes knew what he was doing.
