Sabres fans are done with their brutal ass team
Sabers fans are completely over it and I don’t blame them at all I was actually pretty excited for the Sabres this season and behind the team that were playing tonight the sends they’re probably my most disappointing story of the 23 24 NHL season you know they’re a young team putting pieces together but
It feels like they took a pretty big step back this year I suspected Tage Thompson would have a regression though not like he’s had but the offense has just been dismal all year anyway Buffalo fans the ones who decided to go to the game anyway just gave it to their team
Tonight after an absolutely dismal first period it all started when uko peka Lucan and admittedly one of the bright spots of the Sabres this year let one squeak through and pretty early the Sabers are down one nothing then on the second goal the Sabers who look slow and just aren’t communicating well
Absolutely bungle a Zone exit turning the puck over just like watch the Players when the puck is turned over it’s bad two nothing 5 minutes in the third goal to me was the most egregious though you’ve got three three guys below the goal line UPL just like completely
Left out to dry when the puck goes to bson I don’t know what the players are doing but I don’t know I think it’s probably time for Don Granado to find a new job but no that would not be it the fourth goal watch as the Sabers slowly
Lazily go to retrieve this puck in their own Zone the Ottawa player comes in lays the big body then the other four Checker comes disrupts the play Puck finds his way to CH who just blasts it for nothing at this point UK peka Lucan in is pulled

The Sabres are arguably my favourite American team, I don't understand how a team on paper looks intimidating yet complete clowns on the ice. Their fans deserve better.

Being young has nothing to do with it, they know the basics for some reason the whole season was like this game – they watch the puck in their own zone while the opponent gets open – even I know not to do that. They are very feeble at back checking, this team is NOT physical at all. 10 players contracts are up – except for Oloffson 4.5 mil the rest make 2.5 or less. Can Adams afford or is willing to get players with spite and vigor, or is he sticking with the young players with no hit or grit ?

I’ve been waiting for you to cover the Sabres. As a die hard fan my whole life, when you called it a Timbit Team I laughed out loud. Look on the bright side, we WILL be setting a record this year: having the biggest playoff drought of any major sport in the world (at 13 years). And you can’t take that away from us 😅
The sabres have been a bottom feeder team for over a decade! Like hello??? How long are you going to try and rebuild? This is a clear sign of just being happy to have an NHL team. The last 3 buffalo gm's have NEVER made playoffs. Let that sink in, all 3 have made 0 progress. They still havent been a top 20 team in the NHL since 2011-2012 season.
