CANADIENS Break the Avs’ Win Streak | Jared Bednar Postgame Interview | Avalanche vs Canadiens

Oof, not a great game. The Montreal Canadiens are the ones breaking the win streak. The first period was weak once again, but this time the Avs couldn’t turn the game around.

  1. Awful rebound,& goal Aninen on the game winner. But as coach said-the whole team wasnt good enough.Could barely complete a pass at times. And Walker has been a fabulous addition but tonight that 4 minute high sticking with 5 min left…just absolute killer-ya knew that was probably gonna be the final nail in the cofin.I agree the energy seemed down-like they relaxed cuz they actually scored 1st for a change,& to do it so quick…I don't think it was mostly bad luck though-I think they kinda got what was deserved.

All in all totally forgivable after 9 wins in a row.But terrible to give away 2pts at home vs a lottery team. And to lose on that nonsense 2nd goal bs. But bad teams beat good teams far more often in hockey than any other sport-just by the nature of the game. But ya just damn well better snap out of it quick.Pittsburgh easily couldve been another home loss vs a lottery team,& now ya got the Rangers & Preds. Lose both in regulation,& suddenly finishing top 3 in the central is no lock.Better WTFU Thursday,&get SOMETHING…& Saturday could be the most important game of the season.

  2. Why didn't any of the reporters ask why Bednar did not call a time out to set up the last play? Gutless reporters. Out coached not out played.

  3. This is the first game i have seen were the players seems disinterested in playing. Avs players look like they played last night. Terrible passing from everyone. Walker 4 minute penalty killed the game. Careless from him. The Avs play the Rangers on Thursday, they better not play like they did tonight because that will be embarrassing.

  4. If we’d win them all, you’d all stop watching… that’s what I’d say. Haha. If you go 8/10 you’re at the very top. 9/10 same. They’ll review and move on. It wasn’t an important game. Everyone playing (and watching) knows this. They didn’t play bad. Tighten up a little and it’s a win. Move on. Juice played great for 99%. 2 against needs to be a win every time. That’s on the team in front… might go to the NY game Thursday… could end up being a preview of the finals…again, not an important game but I’d hope they both show up and play hard. The last 9 were good. Lots of come backs and exciting hockey. Couldn’t ask for more imo… just don’t loose 3-4 in a row. Not this time of year…

  5. they hit the post like 5 times the game could easily have been 6-2 Avs thats just how it goes sometimes
