What did u learn about the Canucks after the game against the Kings?
Our big guns no showed, which seems to be pretty frequent in our losses. Am I wrong?
Canucks can't play teams with any kind of sandpaper… I have been saying this for two years…. That's why they shart the bed when playing teams like garbage Philly. What is the solution to this? I'm afraid that they have none… The only hope for the playoffs is that Miller or Pettersson overperforms at God level.
Good points. Petey has not been himself since November when RT told us all that Petey had to many turnovers (and 3 points). His game has been affected ever since. IMO the key is to get Petey going again which will be a real challenge.
I agree with Nils being on the PP which would give Petey a more free role as well.

We as fans learned a long time ago that you can't sit on a lead in this league and you can't take your foot off the gas at any point. Now we have a whole new team learning all the lessons we already know. We're not going to win all of them. But, watching the team go through the same motions as 2011 can be rather painful.
I say put Hogs on PP as he can get the puck for you. But, also, I would remove Boeser from PP1 and put Lindholm on as well. Now you have a puck hound and a faceoff specialist and youre just losing a slow winger.
I've thought about it and I would wayyy rather plays VGK than the KIngs first round. First off, the games vs Kings are sooo boring and I don't want to see that over a whole series. Plus I think if we beat VGK first round that would be a perfect spring board of momentum. If you look at '94 & '11 we gained a ton of confidence and momentum in the first round. I dare say it was almost a sleepwalk into the Finals both times!
