This implies that there is a Jewish hockey player that has scored 50 goals in a post season

  2. shochudai

LOL @ the downvotes. Fucking dumbasses in here. Congrats for the milestone Hyman, from a non-Jewish, Catholic dude.

  3. Connor McDavid: not a Jew but guess who is…All 3 stooges!

  4. HeatYourJets

Sounds like the 50 mark just got its hyman popped

Quinn Hughes and Zack Hymen – are we living in the gilded Jewish hockey player age?

    Ashkenazi Jews:

    Benefits – mad hockey skills

    Cons – terrible food

Hyman has become the player Edmonton thought they were getting when they drafted Nail Yakupov 1st overall.

These milestones matter. I’m not going to say it’s the most important thing ever but hockey has had an accessibility / representation problem for quite some time.

Having lots of different kinds of people succeeding in the game shows people of those backgrounds there’s a place for them in the sport.

That’s why it’s sorta important. Because that’s the only way you’re going to grow the sport.

By building a brand that says “Hockey is for everybody!”

Of course the NHL hasn’t been… consistent with the message but hopefully in time things will change.

He might play for those schlemiels, but what a mitzvah!

The mods should really step the fuck up because the amount of blatant anti-Semitism in the thread is ridiculous considering if these same comments were made under a post about a black player being the first black player to do X stat, They would be insta banned

  10. Halfback

How about he’s the first children’s book author to score 50 goals in a regular season?

  11. SlopitupPOS

And he’ll still be golfing after the first round.

  12. k_laaaaa

you are not fully wrong about our food, but we do have some winners… btw, goyim is plural, goy is singular

  13. WearsTheLAMsauce

Why is his faith relevant to his hockey ability?

  14. DC-Toronto

In the almost 10 years I’ve been watching Zac it has never occurred to me to wonder what his religion is.

What a completely useless fact they’ve brought up.

  15. SorcerorLoPan

And next season he’ll break the Hyman record and get 60

  16. what a weird thing to bring up. Dude was born in Toronto.

  17. Senior_Flatworm_3466

Why do we care that he’s jewish?

  18. djblackprince

Of all things about hockey players I care about, religion is defintely at the very bottom of the list.

Nice milestone for him personally though.

  19. thomasson94

who cares if he is jewish ? I don’t get it ? no hate to the jews obviously

  20. Da Fuq does being Jewish have to do with anything?

  21. londongas

Wow I’m honestly surprised it’s only happened now in 2024, especially with way high scoring back in the 80s

  22. ProtonPi314
