Jake Oettinger makes 26 saves in his 3rd straight win against the Arizona Coyotes last night by a final score of 4-2. Matt Duchene and Tyler Seguin both have three point nights while Miro Heiskanen gets the game winning goal. On today’s episode of Locked On Stars, we give Oettinger some praise for his performance over his last three starts. He has not allowed more than two goals during those games and is starting to look sharper. Hopefully this is a trend moving forward for Otter who has certainly had his struggles this season. We then jump into a discussion on Jamie Benn, who has been on a tear in the month of March. He scored his 7th goal in the month last night and now has 14 points in his last 10 games. This version of Benn is the best we’ve seen all season, his line mates Logan Stankoven and Wyatt Johnston are benefiting too. The final segment we look ahead of the next three games on the road trip against San Jose, Seattle and Vancouver. Plus, the Western Conference playoff picture as things begin to tighten up with just about a dozen games remaining.
