Jacob Fowler Makes Save of the Year – 29th Win is a Big One vs Lane Hutson (1A)/Tuch Smash 3-23-24

What a year it’s been for Jacob Fowler as he made some huge saves to pick up his 29th win of the season, 1 shy of the NCAA record for Freshman goalies. He stopped 34 of 36 in helping BC win the Hockey East Championship. He’s a jaw dropping 15-1 in his last 16 starts. Wow. On the season he’s 29-5-1 with a 2.19 gaa and a .925 save %.

Lane Hutson picked up 1 assist on 2 shots, 4 pims, -1 on the night. On the season he now has 13 goals, 46 points in 35 games and 94 points in his NCAA career.

Luke Tuch (#11 red) had 2 shots, 2 pims, Even, 1/4 FO’s. Tuch was throwing his weight around as he brought a solid physical game.

Hutson Assist – 17:44
Fowler Save – 14:23

  1. They both look so dominant. I like dobes but he seems to be more often out of position compared to fowler. Luke tuch seems to be a strong physical presence

  2. Fowler is on a very good team and is way over rated. All Fowler does is exactly what all goalies are doing which is auto drop to the knees on every shot weather he needs to or not.Just auto going down is actualy bad goaltending because you take yourself out of the play on rebounds but when you have a good team in front of you can get away with it which is why the best goalie numbers are on the best teams.
We are also seeing really poor shooting by hockey players in this era of hockey they SHOULD realize to get puck upstairs but seem to not have a clue.

  3. MCarthy's goal really shows that Fowler is over rated that was a long shot he SHOULD have stopped.

  4. thank for uploading all this footage same with the rocket for us the peasants who cant watch the game live!
