Even as a fan of the Avs, and I would love to see MacKinnion win the Hart, I think Kucherov deserves it the most. The Lightning would be nowhere near a playoff spot without his production.
Lost a ton of respect for Tampa with how they handled losing the cup. Pure crybabies and I would be very entertained reading all the crying if Kucherov doesn’t get it

All this discussion about the hart trophy not only on here but all over the place. Nobody talks about the vezina trophy. If it would be a leafs goalie I'm sure we wouldn't hear the end of it

They’re the Tampa Bay Kucherovs and a band of misfit players.
Avs fan here and the Hart is a tough one. Right now I think Kuch should get it, dragging a mid Tampa team in to thd playoffs all on his own. If Nate goes and finishes the season with a perfect home point streak surely it's his though.
I think McDavid or Matthews will finish third in the voting
a few years since I watched a cpas game, maybe I'll try again since #43 is suspended. I got so tired of his nasty play. if he is better…? maybe.
The Preds have looked great during this stretch, they should be scaring potential playoff opponents. That first line is so tenacious and strong!

Kucherov is on pace for 140 + points so how he doesn't get the Hart is beyond me. So sick of hearing about Matthews. Any player that thinks of his teammates first should get first consideration. It should be between MacKinnon and Kucherov IMO.

When it comes to hart, i think looking at the linemates should be taken into consideration. Mackinnon plays with a stupidly all-star cast of players. I'm pretty sure if you put Matthews in his place, he'd have 30 more assists too. Just saying. I don't know why we expect Matthews to rack up the assists when he's passing to Marner, Holmberg or Knies and god knows who is on defense. Pretty sure it's easier to get points when you play with Makar, Toews, Rantanan, etc. every shift. I would at least accept McDavid because he makes his linemates better – there's no way Hyman is getting 50 playing with anyone else. I would say Mackinnon is the weakest out of the 4 though.
