And he’ll be scratched again if he doesn’t pick it up!

I feel like there’s been too big a focus on “the captain was scratched.” It’s not the end of the world. Torts isn’t an evil coach and coots has been pretty bad recently . He probly needed the rest and reset more than trying to play through it anyway.

He has played bad. His body isn’t doing what he needs it to do. It’s not that hard.

Hypothetically. Let’s say torts said he’s scratching Coots tonight for a “rest day” because “he’s been giving everything he’s got but it’s clear his body isn’t responding”. Would people still freak out the way they do over “scratched”?

Like it’s one game out of 82 for a dude who hasn’t played 2 years prior to this season. It’s ok you guys. It doesn’t mean torts is running the guy out of town. Breathe

  4. The media can drum up as much drama as they want about this but it still doesn’t change the fact that he kinda had it coming. Whether this is an anti-torts agenda or not, I’m perfectly happy putting players on the ice that can give us more in a game than those who can’t. Last night he was completely vindicated in his decision.
