LaLonde has got to go. This team doesnt respond to him. Even during the win streak they were getting absolutely shelled the first ten minutes of every game. He cant get this team ready to play. Its unacceptable.

Nah you can’t blame Alex Lyon. They got good goaltending when the team was actually playing well in front of him. Even then they got out shot but it was a smaller margin. What goalie saves teams that completely hang them out to dry on a nightly basis? Lyon makes so many good saves throughout the game but the onslaught never ends.
Need to trade for a Top 4 defensemen and a center as good as Larkin or better.

The race between teams who DONT want the playoff spot are so weak that either Boston or NYR (or god forbid TOR) should run away with the east easily and sweep the early rounds. Maybe FLA too.
I heard a rumour that Markstrom was possibly getting traded at the deadline. We should have bought something! I'm a fan of Lyon but I agree he is burnt out and won't admit it. The defense is still a mess but Jeff Petry wasn't quite as bad in the past 2 games as he has been through the streak. And also in Patrick Kane's defense he blocked at least 3 shots in the last 2 games combined.
Lyon looked better than Reimer.. but faced like twice the amount of shots bc of the team not playing D….

Opposite of hope. Anger and sadness. I don’t know why I haven’t let go yet, kind of hate this team if I’m being honest. I really want to know what happened, it’s like this whole team was mentally damaged and can’t focus on hockey anymore. I do think it is coaching but that’s combined with players that simply don’t want to win as bad as we want them to. That is the part that makes me dislike them.
I know Lyon has let a lot past him, some softies even. However, its not like he's not still making huge saves either. He's not a sieve. There's been some great performance out of him, and I still think he'd be a very good goalie if the team in front of him had some consistency and if he had someone reliable to share the net with. Before this losing streak, his record was 18-8-2. I hate that Lyon finally got his shot in the Show, and the team is making him look this bad.

Believe when i say i havent been a fan of Lalonde since last season, but now him and the entire coaching staff need to be straight up fired.
I understand it is difficult to replace everyone quickly, but if Yzerman doesnt at least fire Lalonde then we really have to do the unthinkable and question his ability to run the team.
44 shots on goal and 16 blocked shots is 60 shots towards the goalie. Not good at all. The Wings do not deserve to be in the playoffs. If they do get in, don't look for anything lasting longer than 1st round.
