Treliving has faith in the so called core to lead the way, but I have no faith in that group at all anymore. None of them have "it", and never will. Hope I'm wrong, but they'll be lucky to win 2 games from the Bruins in round 1. Nothing will change unless a major departure happens (my pick is Marner), but Leafs seem determined to stay the course, just to drive their fan base insane.

LEafs did a little window dressing but basically its the same product that could not get the job done the last 7 playoffs .This will be the sane resukt as all the other Bruins series except this one might end in 4 or maybe 5 .The Leafs are signigicantly worse than last year at this time .The D is still leaky ,the bottom 6 is providing almost no secondary scoring .If the Leafs are out in the first round this HAS to be the end of the Shannaplan .He will have to be shown the door

The problem is no matter how they do the rest of the season and the playoffs at next year (because they’re not winning the Stanley Cup) there are so many people in the GTA, that, even if the “faithful” ever did give up, there are tons of new sheep born to become the “new and improved faithful” every day…

Kyper, the voice of REASON when it comes to Marchand. The others and their hate for Marchand, are embarrassing to listen to. The bias just oozes out and I can't stand that. Applauding dirty hits by Leafs players while saying the opposite about Marchand. Disappointed in them, for sure.
I've spoken to 3 NHL scouts about the Guentzel return, every single one loved Ville Koivunen. Get better sources JB.
I didn't expect much at the deadline bc the team as good as they are …just aren't a cup contender. The issue is wear in tear on the body and endurance and strength level for playoffs. There core always looked way too worn out after 1 playoff series. I always noticed this in last 5 years man. Matthews looked stronger though during this season so maybe he has made some changes and he will be tougher to go up against. The guy looks alot stronger on the puck…that said they still need more depth. Domi and Bertuzzi prob will be clutch. Goaltending? Nope…Woll will let in some bad ones. Samsonv is your best option he could get hot. I have zero interest in watching another bruins or Tampa series . Big headache!!! Would love to see the leafs go up agains or build new rivals in another div. No fun anymore man.
