  1. Hallelujah, praise the lord and pass the ammunition! Allen FINALLY got traded.
It's about damn time, too! We can finally put this 3-goalie bullshit system to rest.
My birthday is on Sunday so I'll just consider this as an early birthday present!😂

  2. The big move is trading for the first overall, giving Chicago our two first round picks and a D prospect we have too many.

  3. Kent Hughes is a Wizard in my opinion… With how Allen has played I was sure he wasn’t getting moved and if he did it would be for a 4th or a 5th, But Hughes works some magic and gets a 3rd with a condition of Allen playing 40 games next season it will turn into a second round pick…

  4. Praise you two for making what 4 videos i one day that are all high quality and work full time jobs? Really good job. I really appreciate you making videos for us everyday at such good quality. ❤

  5. Boys, next year will still be building year. The following year 26/27 will be hopefully the year we start a long run of being contenders.

  6. Lets not be fooled here…. Savard I'm sure was hoping to be moved to a playoff contender at the trade deadline rather than staying on a team that wins a game and loses the next 4. He wants to play for a Stanley Cup not be on a very early stage of a rebuild. I watched the entire video of Kent Huges and honestly I didn't hear anything amazing. We still have the same team starting next season as we have now unless Hughes makes a big splash of a trade and he hasn't done that yet…Yes we got Kirby and Alex, but as you can see plagued with injuries as the HABS do so often. Just tired as a HABS fan since the Marc B days to the beginning of this rebuild.

  7. I think Hughes has boxed himself in. Too many picks, too many defence men, the other teams will see him coming. Don’t think he will be able to get good value in return. Ifs , if Dach can get healthy and defence progresses, can present three NHL worthy lines, and six NHL defence-man. Still need a couple of snipers to get over the top. I still think we don’t have a great goal tender. ( think Dobes is better than what we have in Montreal while waiting for Fowler.)

  8. Hes building the team with the age group 24ish… if someone like slaf is 20 but playing up to a age 24 player… if older but that quality… hes eyeing a cup in 2-3years…drafting a 18 year old that takes 2-3 years to develope doesnt sound appealing to his plan…. and the key is that flames pick we got for monahan it can be a top 10…. really really opens up possibilities

  9. you guys r really not smart.. i told you he couldn't get rid of the human goalie screener/zamboni/clydesdale that bum savard!!!! stop drinking the kool aid !!!! st louie hughes & gorton r all smucks & so is there system.. you guys like saying rebuild!!!! well get used to 3 more years!!!! savard , armia, gallagher, devorak r all bums… gulie is beginning to show savard like signs ( not moving his feet ) way to go marty , teach the young guys how to suck!!!!

  10. Last year was THE year to make big draft moves and we did nothing we actually did WORSE by trading away picks.
So IDK why we shoudldcare this year as the quality of forwards is imo LESS than last year so management is TOO LATE.
Then we have this talk of Laval and making moves WHY does that matter this is a REBUILD not a cup run there is no need to play ring around the rosey because there are only so many minutes in a game and the young players NEED minutes.
So we are actually going to see some backwards managing more players a bigger roster LESS ice time for young players.
IDC one iota about David Savard he is imo a very weak defenseman I have zero use for him moving forward.

  11. My only problem with the Allen trade is the 2 mill salary retention through next year. Giving up a career NHL 1B caliber goalie for a 3rd-rd pick (which only has ~ a 10-15% chance of becoming someone who ever even has a cup of coffee at the NHL level) is sketchy enough. But considering our 3-goalie situation, okay. But then to retain that salary (and use our last salary retention slot on it as well) really handcuffs us in terms of being able to make any serious moves at the draft or over the summer to be able to compete next year. Looking more and more like 2025-26 before we sniff the playoffs again. 😔

  12. The most significant advancement for the Habs right now would be for Price to retire so we can lose that 'albatross around our neck' of his cap hit/LTIR place. But he's too comfy collecting his tens of millions for doing f*** all. And fair enough from his perspective, if you maybe think he earned it. But it's time Habs fans stopped considering him a God and see it for what it is. He's going to cripple this rebuild until he's finally out of the picture entirely.
