He did a good job w the current situation ,got rid of toff who is slow and aging no point of giving him term , got rid of Vitek and got a decent back up for next year
Need to trade for Ullmark in the offseason.
He didn't have a good year, just like the team. Injuries were a huge problem but, bottom line, Ruff ended up in a rough position (no pun intended) with 20-year-old d-men backed by 22-year-old goalies. They also lack size and, frankly, they lack a mean streak – too many nice guys on this team, which isn't a bad thing unless they're also on the smaller side. Fitz has some work to do.

I have a strong gut feeling that you’ll be landing Marky in the off season and trust me, as a flames fan it really stings to say it…but as a fan who’s watched every game this season im telling ya guys you should be absolutely stoked if you do land him because I honestly think he’d be top 3 goalie if the team didn’t hang him out to dry with a considerable amount of games this year including the ones we won lol,
