Army’s biggest move during the trade deadline was signing Sunny to a two-year extension. This got me thinking about where he would rank among former All-Time Blues Fan Favorites. Does Sunny belong in the St. Louis Blues Fan Favorite Hall of Fame? Who else would you add or even remove?

Miss my little guy with gumption 🥲 we could use a sabotka rn

  2. Pantsman1084

He definitely belongs in that group. Dude genuinely loves this town and the fans, and that’s why he’s loved in return.

57 belongs in the rafters. Change my mind.

  4. Sunny reminds me of Geoff Courtnall. Dude is tenacious, does a good job on PK, draws penalties, and every once in a while flashes some skill.

As always, #1 in your programs and #1 in our hearts, Brian Elliott!

Pre-KHL Sobotka was a fan favorite but he was ass after he came back. He’s off that for sure.

Hull and Oates – but they have to go as a team… the 80s were magical even without a cup

Where is Shanny? I call shananigans! Edit: spelling

  9. BlackoutBerryReborn

I vote Reavo goes in the fan favorite hall of fame as well

People loved Craig Conroy. I remember people were livid when he was traded for stillman. I don’t think stillman was fully welcomed here because of who he was traded for.

    Too many to mention…

Dad, Steener, vladi, perron. Ok literally half the cup team.

Then like tons of 90s guys.

    Backes, Jackman.

We’ve had a ton of guys that people unanimously love. That list would be huge.

Let’s throw some ground rules on this. Similar to the current Blues Hall of Fame, players must have played at least 200 games for the Blues and be retired from the NHL. Also, more value to players who were not studs. Looking for those players who endeared themselves to the fan base not by scoring a bunch of points but by the other ways they played the game. Similar to how Sunny has. Maybe that will narrow our list down.

Sunny D will be one of those dudes that will be around the team forever. Like an Al MacInnis, Kelly Chase, Bruce Affleck.

Backes, Steen, Weight, Demitra, Pronger, Oshie

  15. FredupwithurBS

Bob Bassen (actually the whole Green Beret line), Ian Laperriere, Jeff Brown, and Geoff Courtnall.

The most “Blues” player that I can think of is Brian Sutter.

Are we doing favorite players as a whole? Or Mt Rushmore of faves?
Rushmore I got: Hull, Turgeon, Macinnis, Plager

Overall and to add: yeah all those players. I’m a hater, but give me Perron. The guy bled Blue. Let’s see Sunny. Demitra needs to be there. I feel a lot of MacInnis underrepresentation lately. Dallas Drake wore the note super hard and is forgotten. And this is probably just me, but I distinctly recall Christian Backman on the team. Idk why… but the fact that I can’t forget him, he makes the list
