  1. Always interesting to hear these minor deals. Lets you keep an eye on ahl guys to see if they will get called up.

  2. Yawn! just another french dude to satisfy the french fans and media, his potential is meh, and will never make the roster.

  3. He was a first rounder …and that means he HAS some talent and at only 21 yrs. Old …can develop into a good player !!Also he grew up with a pro hockey player father ..!! Yanic . Time will tell ..!!😊

  4. savard , armia, gallagher, devorak allen, premuae need gone or you will be talking rebuild for years to come

  5. i would not use that place you mentioned as a guide for prospects in my opinion.
they called me a name i didnt like.then banned me forever .
all because i said someone drank water funny.
you can be friends with them, but if you quote what they say ill think youre a bobo.

grit and bottom six at best in the ahl.so the team doesnt look bad with its lame duck coach in laval atm.
should have claimed brendan lemieux instead imo.

  6. Have yo uwatched laval? They play wide open SLOPPY hockey worse coached than the big Habs.Point being nobody going to Laval is going to learn any responsible two way hockey.
I have to say that if he has an elite shot and still can't score I woudl say he doesn't aim his shot nor does he know to elevate the puck ALL the time knowing that goaleis go down all the time.Basically if he has the tools to score but struggles to score he is not a smart hockey player.

  7. in my opinion Jeremy Perrault was a big reach at 27th overall in 2020 I had him going in the 4th round on my list… I’m not a professional scout by any means but I watch a lot of prospects in my spare time and I was never a fan of Jeremy Perrault… He’s a pure sniper type of player he doesn’t go to the dirty areas to score so he’s a perimeter player, He just didn’t have much else to his game when he was drafted…. From what I have seen from him lately he’s has gotten better defensively not much better, but better than he was in his draft year for sure, Still has a wicked shot…. Other than that there is not much here and he’s a little bit of an upgrade from Mysak, But I also had Mysak as a career AHLer…. He’s still young and I could be completely wrong. I have a feeling I won’t be.. I do not see much potential here or if any.

  8. Watch a few highlights of his skilss. And i quite like it tbh. He has good vision, handles and iq. If put in a trusting system he might get places. I honestly see him as a top 6 if hes consistent

  9. I see this trade as a late correction to the one mistake of Kent Hughes (and the players dev staff) last summer which was letting go prematurely of Pierrick Dubé, the only true natural right winger on the team at the time, with many similarities to his game with RHP's relentless style but with even more of a knack for scoring. His season with Hershey has been amazing, top 3 AHL scorer most of the season, reached the point he got called up to the Capitals for a couple games (and he might get called up again now that Mantha's been traded out to Vegas).

  10. Jacob Perrault: – No grit…. no sandpaper … no intimidation factor … afraid of getting hit…. He is the type of SOFT PREGNANT RABBIT forward the Habs management covets…. Habs soon enough, next year will get BATTERED because they depend only on Pizzeta and the Sheriff to do all the protection. What will happen when Slavkosky gets smashed into the boards like Paciorety got boarded by Zdeno Chara?

  11. Traded a C for a scoring winger, when there's alot more Cs joining the team next yr. Senisble trade to keep writers busy when theres no other habs trade updates

  12. Il say it, but i think we will regret not giving Mysak the chance he deserved, he gives me a lot of Pastrnak vibes with his playstyle.
