    Cancer really sucks, but why is that every time a athlete has/had cancer, everyone becomes there #1 fan of the person, but not even think about all the normal people that have/beat cancer every day at there local hospital dedicated strictly for cancer… They play a fucking sport, they ain’t fucking special or any different then the average person. Go support and cheer for the people in the cancer ward at your local hospital, it’ll damn sure mean so much more to them, then the person who hears cheering every time they played a freaking game…

    Sorry if I’m coming off rude or bitchy but I’ve seen way to much when it comes to cancer. Those athletes get enough support. Some people in those wards don’t get enough or any at all and they just let it destroy them….

    Pens fan. Hockey fan. I love the fact this kid beat cancer and he scored. Life is so much bigger than a uniform you wear or a team you root for. This is awesome. I worked in oncology for 2 years and I love seeing success stories like this because cancer patients go through so much.
