  1. This is definitely a player the leafs should have been watching. In fact they should be watching everyone. Take a chance, eh!

  2. You had it wrong interpreting the conditional on Lundqvist. It's 55 points, not games played. He had 16 points in 60GP last year, and has 15 points in 45GP this year. Stars have 18 games left this year. In order for the pick to upgrade, he would need 24 points in 18 games, and he's never been remotely close to a point per game player.

  3. As a resident Kraken fan, I'm honestly pretty satisfied with this trade. Wenny has been fantastic for us, and I'm not thrilled to see an original Kraken player leave (one who chose to come here to SEA, btw, he signed as a UFA in july '21). But the return is pretty fair value, maybe a little low, but he was on an expiring deal and he doesnt really offer the thing that the Kraken are really bleeding for, which is offense. Plus, frankly, hes been scratched the last couple games and theyve been playing well enough without him.

The fun angle is that Lundqvist might be catching strays from the Kraken fanbase out of nowhere 😂

  4. Adam should do more of these, but instead of doing it in the office, he should be doing them in a bathrobe while lying on a couch as his butler keeps bringing him food and drink lol

  5. Chytil was intended to be the 2nd Line Center. I worry about his future. This is both for this playoff run and I believe somewhat of a “try out” to sign here as the Rangers lack Center depth. Wennberg has good size and speed, responsible defensively, and can make plays. I expect a line Centering Brodzinski and Kakko for the 3rd Line. Brodzinski is great at supporting guys on and off the ice; AHL captain. This should be helpful for Kakko to produce. Kakko can cook along the boards, Brodz can shoot, Wennberg can transition the puck. This allows the 4th Line to be Cuylle – Goody – Vesey. We expect Drury to add a RW – I do not think Guentzel, who is a LW.

  6. Wennberg is a the hardest working forward in the entire western division. I'm happy he came back to the east where he belongs.

  7. If the leafs face them in the third round!?😂 Yeah and the end of March is coming. So everyone upgrade ur foglights so u don't run over the Easter bunny! Lol

  8. seattle has no room with shane wright coming up so wennberg wouldnt have been re-signed anyways. good for both sides

  9. So…. u realize Wennberg played 60 out of 82 games this season, or 73.17% of the season that Seattle has to pay 2.25 mil, BUT Wennberg, with a post-poned contract, has 5.0 mil owing to him this season, not 4.5. I know you saw that when you looked up on CapFriendly, you think its a steal for the Rangers.
