NJ Devils Trade for Kurtis MacDermid BALLS HAVE ARRIVED TO NEW JERSEY!

The New Jersey Devils dealt a seventh round pick in the 2024 Draft and forward Zakhar Bardakov to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Kurtis MacDermid.

MacDermid is a bonafide HEAVYWEIGHT enforcer. 6’5″ 233 pounds of SMASH YOUR FACE IN!

Is Tom Fitzgerald done making moves and this was it?!?

I discuss the long overdue move in this video.

Let me know what you guys think in the comments.

Here are some clips of MacDermid’s work:

vs. Nicolas Deslauriers:

vs. Jordan Greenway:

  1. Was watching the videos you posted of MacDermid…This is what NJ needs! A Scott Stevens type player…half of those fights were MacDermid standing up for his teammates. FINALLY! Someone to stand up. Granted I think we need another defensemen like this, and another goalie…but a win is a win. I know I said I was done watching the Devils this season…but this makes me want to watch. lol

  2. Good move, hoping they can get more done before the deadline. But we got a piece we desperately needed, on a dirt cheap contract and didn’t have to sacrifice anything

  3. Yes, i welcome a more polished and more popular Krystoff Oliwa to this squad lol soft and New Jersey Devils should never ever be mentioned in the same sentence again after this!

  4. We see his impact already and he hasn’t even played 1 second for us yet! Devils got bullied again tonight in Anaheim and came up a goal short! Watch the difference and alpha makes against the Kings next game

  5. Sad to see Kermit gone, Town and Country has been doing much better as a Forward this season and performing well when on the ice. Always great to see him have a fight and unfortunately was just under utilized and not given ice time due to all of the other talent on the Avs. I hope he gets more ice time and more fights with the Devils, would love to see to see him thrive as he is a good player and a huge locker room guy who really was instrumental for the Avs with our captain Landy out this past 2 seasons.

  6. Avs fab from the start, it's sad to see Dermie leave CO. Living in Jersey for 20+ I grew my love for hockey with the Devils. The Rock is going to go nuts over this stud.
