  1. I wish him the best wherever he may go, but this is heartbreaking to see my favorite player go like this😢

  2. Rooted for this guy through thick and thin. I’ve grown tiresome of him in dc. I think it’s time to let him go, sucks we can’t get any assets for him. But it is what it is, best of luck to him if he moves on. So much potential that is potentially wasted

  3. Hearing Brain MacLellan say if no one picks him up, he’d go to Hershey, was hard to hear ☹️. Y’all know I’m attached to everyone lol. MacLellen said it’s to “give him a new start, and we have a history here” … he didn’t mean that in a good way. Best to KUZY! I’ll miss your shoot out so much, it’s always been my favorite!

  4. Good Luck but I feel he's a weight on the team. Think it's a good move for both parties. I just don't see anyone willing to take him off the waiver wire considering they couldn't offload him season.

I'm not sold on Mantha, it's a contract year. Many players perform great prior to contract expiration just to lay an egg again. Still he still hasn't reached his points high when in Detroit so essentially he's still underperforming..

  5. He's second coming of Alex Semin. Very talented, but lost his desire to play. Tragic. Ain't nobody gonna pick him up. Capitals stuck with a salary cap anchor ⚓. 🤬

  6. When you announce that your goal total in the 20's "was good enough! … But 40 was possible … But I'm satisfied!" You better not cause or be a problem! And he was! Needing to go into the players assistance program just as the Capitals playoff chances were slipping away … Was the last straw!

  7. I can't remember if it was on ESPN or TNT but on one of the national broadcasts they said if Kuzy had the heart of Tom Wilson he would be a 90 point performer. That comment was spot on.
