Krug gets most of the hate bc the fanbase always has to have a whipping boy on defense. Also krug makes $6.5 mil a year, is often injured and he is finally having a decent year, but again can't stay healthy. Don't get me wrong I believe Krug is part of the problem, but he is not the only problem w our defensive struggles.
Salary cap management is a large…large part of the problem with this season.
This is so short sighted and misinformed. Doug has literally been very clear about a retool. Bitch and complain all you want but this team remained competitive for many years. A couple of rough seasons is not reason for alarm. It’s a part of long term team building. Constantly beating on Kevin Hayes and Torey Krug is another issue. Yeah they aren’t superstars and theoretically could be better but Hayes was brought in for a low price to be a 3rd line center. He’s basically replacing Bozak and his stats are pretty similar to Bozak for and Hayes does it for less money since Philly is covering half the bill. We are having a rough season and you’re looking for scapegoats to blame. Armstrong is an Elite GM, and yes our players aren’t great right now but many of them are only here to bridge us over until our young talent are ready to take over (Dvorsky, Snuggerud, Bolduc, Dean, Lindstein) all I can ask is that you learn some patience and maybe dig a little deeper with you content
Holy hell… you think Krug is playing a lot better than anyone expected??? Is that satire? He's the obvious weakest link on the team. It's unmissable. And no other Dman comes close.
I cant believe u still think thomas and neighbors are doing good. I like both players alot but thomas has given the puck away over 20 timess a game neighbors hasn't scored in like 13 games i think… are defense is garbage r coaching is garbage.if u give kyrou puck on pp he chokes and gives puck up to other team. Krug loses puck every game in offense zone and gives up breakaway every game schenn has sucked. No thomas should not be captain. Fire coach n trade players

Thomas 16 Points in last 10 games, Neighbours 7 points in last 10 games, Kyrou 10 points in last 10 games.. the defense and middle six production is the issue on this team. Kyrou is having a down year and is almost at 50 points and his defense is improving. Tired of people using him as a scapegoat..
Also Schenn and Krug are our 4th and 5th highest scorer if that tells you anything..
I know one thing we all might not agree with each other. But we all bleed blue can we agree on that.
