  1. Hopefully if there was a incident it is nothing more than two passionate teammates bitching about a play. Its up to these guys to be adults and keep steering the ship in the right direction. I also feel Kanes displeasure being on the third line can being a good thing. Sometimes players need a wake up call and the last time he was moved down then brought back he had a scoring outburst. His elevated play would be important in the playoffs.

  2. For those that think team chemistry is always rainbows balloon and unicorns, they’ve never played in a team

  3. Just maybe Kane is speaking his mind when the team isn’t playing up to the standards that were set by this group!

  4. If this is true and not getting better very fast, Evander Kane is never playing in the NHL again!
This is/was his last chanse to play with a contender rated team in the league after all the stupid drama he have pulled in all his previous teams.
Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres, San Jose Sharks and now it seems he after all have not learned any lesson(s) and is at age 32 getting out from the league.
IF any teams signs him, then it is a very-very desperate team who have nothing – but that would be a disservice to the league and give ideas to troublemakers that as long as you can score 1 or 2 goals from time-to-time, they will put up with team-cancer individuals…

  5. Stevie Wonder could have seen this coming. This is what happens when you sign a delinquent gambler with questionable morals. You're surprised he's a prima donna?

  6. They WON tonight…played like a team…Kane was on the 2nd line…and 2nd Powerplay unit…no issues. 5 points back of Vancouver with 4 games in hand…..Do you really think this will somehow distract the Oilers Legorocks?

  7. Of course Kane is problematic, Oilers knew that. And they will keep a lid on it until Kane shoots himself in the foot again. Bottom line is they will not move belong the second round this year again.

  8. If its true Kane needs to humble himself and just play hockey. He needs to listen to the coach and just do his job. Everybody sees how he's too slow to play on the top two lines, plays die on his stick. Maybe they should force him to watch a video montage of himself and make him see what he's doing. Anyway, there should be some pride in going to the 3rd line and making that line productive, he shouldn't see it as a demotion, just do your best to help the team win. Its gonna take all 4 lines for the Oil to be successful. Take it as a challenge instead of complaining. Anyway, if its true , and if he continues to be a dressing room cancer, get rid of him by the trade deadline. We don't need prima donnas! I'm sure we can get a decent return for him, if another team is willing to pick him up that is. .

  9. We gave Kane the resurgence by putting him with these great players. He’s stunk it up right now and has lots of mishaps on the ice. He should have no reason to feel superiority or angst against the team when his career was held by a thread

  10. Both Kane and Leon come down on them-selves more than discriminating each other . Gossip about dressing room shouting matches should be just that GOSSIP Leon you can tell is playing hurt even if they say otherwise and Kane is a win at all cost type of player so i would drop the rumors and let both talented players play the game

  11. Whenever Evander Kane leaves a team, it's usually pretty hostile, and the media picks the situation apart

  12. Def not accurate, if it was, Kaner would not be playing on that 2nd line with nuge. He would’ve been healthy scratched on several games & it would’ve been obvious. Judging by their demeanour around eachother, they definitely look like a team that’s in good terms

  13. Is Evander Kane at it again? Winnipeg Jets. They moved him to Buffalo. Buffalo got tired of him and moved him to San Jose. He was a disaster in San Jose. He had his contract invalidated. Edmonton picked him up for a couple million. Then signed him for four years at $5.125 million.
Winnipeg traded him with Zach Bogosian for Joel Armia, Tyler Myers, Drew Stafford, Brendan Lemieux and a first round pick. The Winnipeg team basically threw him out of the locker.
Buffalo traded him to San Jose for Danny O'regan and a conditional first or second round pick and a conditional fourth round pick in 2020. Anaheim ended up taking that first round pick that turned to be Braden Tracey.
San Jose got Kanes contract terminated. They got nothing for him and he signed with edmonton for a million for a partial season.
He has been trouble and troubled everywhere he has gone and Edmonton was/is his last chance.

  14. Kane has ran into McDavid so much since he joined. I have no clue why hes body checking the best player in the world but I think he needs to go.

  15. Actually this is what they call'click bait'. The comment was originally about a brief encounter that was on the bench – the rest is all conjecture

  16. The problem the coach faces is that instead of having six top players, he actually only has four top players:

McDavid, Hyman, Draisaitl and Nudgen-Hopkins.😜 Kane is NOT top six )) he is 3-d line player! Oilers need one more Hyman type player

  17. Just putting this out there. Leon doesn't look happy right now. He was seen having a heated argument with Glen Gulutzan, and we know his game isn't up to par as it use to be. Perhaps what is deemed an issue with Kane might actually be Draisaitl not getting along with some people in the dressing room. And it could be both.
