Garland had serious guts going in for a fight against Tanev! I don't think anyone would have advised him to pick that fight. Garland is 5'8'' and Tanev is 6'0''.. hard to win that fight if you're not allowed to knock a guy over and fight on the ground. He did get one good hit in, and didn't seem injured from the fight, so it wasn't so bad all things considered! I like that Garland tried SOMETHING to wake his team up, anyway.
I said a week or so ago that you know something is wrong with the Canucks team when Garland is the only one dishing out body checks. When Garland is the only Canuck fighting, this is whole new level of messed up 'nucks team. Everyone on the team needs to gear up on their physical play…except my boy CG.
