In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the Capitals 5-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. It was a back-and-forth game that saw the Capitals coming out on top. Nicolas Aube-Kubel got the scoring going for the Capitals after being scratched. Connor McMichael now has back-to-back two goal games. Anthony Mantha continues to impress by scoring his 18th goal of the season. Rasmus Sandin also found twine in the game. The Caps got a chance to see Protas at center and he was impressive showing off his skating sound defensive play. TJ Oshie left the game with what looked like a lower body injury. He will be evaluated on Friday.

Happy screaming, yelling, nail biting, SADness – that no contact Osh fall is SO worrisome! I automatically thought, “omg I bet he’s done for season, with the way he stays injured”. HOPE IM WRONG! ….We played gritty and very well. And again – OVI🏒 McMichael busting out too! Happy for the W, need those points!…. But I love Osh and hope he’s ok! Lindgren = epic. ….. #manthatheman . Oh and Tom is the best, obvi 😂❤️💙great assists from him aside, ….I nearly fainted that he jumped in between to stop a fight 😱 ….he’s becoming such a leader, Carlson as well. Love it. (Side note – class act by Hedman trying to help Oshie to the bench. ❤️W💙 I trust in Carbs! …. ( I gotta stop commenting as soon as it starts lol, like I’m hearing an echo sometimes 😂)
Oshe injury is a bummer but I don’t think this team will miss a beat. Who gets the call up from Hershey?
