Florida has now won five straight games — and extended its franchise-record road winning streak. The Panthers have now won 11 away from Sunrise, one off the NHL record held by the Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota Wild.

The Panthers have not lost on the road since visiting Calgary on Dec. 18; the road streak started in Tampa on Dec. 27.

Florida comes home to play host to the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday before going to Carolina on Thursday.

On Saturday, 13 players made the scoresheet for the Panthers as they scored a franchise-record nine road goals off a franchise-record nine consecutive goals.

Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Bennett each scored twice and assisted on two other goals.

Florida also got two goals from Carter Verhaeghe, who hit the 30-goal mark for the third consecutive year.

Other goal scorers were Brandon Montour, Kevin Stenlund and Gus Forsling.

Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves as he recorded a career-best eighth consecutive road win.
