I loved how Nuck’s fans cheered the hit on Scheifele and 3 seconds later were silenced by a goal against.
That Lowry hit last night got Vancouver off their game. They spent the rest of the game trying to exact revenge rather than win the game.

Homeboy was made of rubber this game. Took a couple hard hits and bounced right back to either score or assist, looking absolutely unphased. Absolutely amazing to watch!

He certainly did. I think we have to remember that when Scheifs was getting all that criticism last year, it was because of his lack of two way game that he has now. In high moments for this team in 2018 he was lighting it up in the playoffs. In low points like Montreal he lit up Evans in game 1, not because he didn’t care, and last year he got hurt in the 1st round crashing into the back boards on one of the few good chances we had vs Vegas. The man wants to win and it shows all the time. He just needed to work on/change a couple aspects of his game like everybody else on the team needed to do too; some more than others.

Scheifs difference between last season and this season is night and day! It’s like Wheeler being gone has allowed him to become the leader he should always have been. Watching the Jets has been nothing but a pleasure and last night was a helluva game!
