So the average Canadian hockey fan has to face reality that Gary Bettman’s pet project has been an incredible success in every way possible… and that infuriates the core fanbase to no end.

I think people hate Vegas because all of the expansion rules were changed for them to be really good and relevant right away, granted McPhee also did a great job compared to the likes of Seattle. Also everything about them, to me, seems gimmicky
