It is now official the New York Rangers will be without Filip Chytil for the remainder of the 2023-2024 season after he sustained a setback in his recovery from the previous upper body injury at practice while wearing a non-contact jersey. Rangers will more than likely now look to acquire a center at the deadline with the glaring lack of center depth on this team.

Hopefully like he said will be back October but doesn't look good for his long term future playing
I'd rather have Chytil but the silver lining is the cap space to go out and get more competitive. This team, as it stands right now is not a Cup contender this year. We can now do things like trade for Anthony Duclair
It's worse then what is being reported. He felt on the ice just skating with nobody hitting him and just that alone knocked Chytil out for several minutes. I think this is going to be a long term injury with Chytil now, so as much as I really like him. It's time for him to walk away from the game and think about his health and future.
I’d rather chytil never play another game and live a healthy life than come back and even risk another concussion. He made his money. Invest wisely he’ll never HAVE to work a day in his entire life.
His health is EVERYTHING. If his career isn’t over it should be. He’s too young (24) to have a shitty quality of life as he gets older. Will definitely miss him. Of the kid line, he was the most progressed. He got his money. Live long and prosper 🖖
