Highly doubt he gets in and will be sent back down after the Chicago game. Probably wasn’t enough time to get someone from Vancouver to Washington and he’s just up for insurance until Zadorov suspension is over.

The more I think about it, the more I think he’s going to play Tuesday.
I think the pandemic messed with a lot kids’ development and maybe the traditional timelines don’t apply to them as well.
Also, the club probably is smart to have a look at him at the NHL level now to gauge what to do with him as he’s an RFA this year.
Also, Wolanin and Hirose are both injured for Abby. Do you call him up for injury depth for just one game? Zadorov is back Thursday.

He probably won’t play, but he has looked really good every abby game I’ve gone to. He plays a lot of minutes and in all situations. I think he could be a reliable bottom pairing guy soon

If they are going to trade for another Dman at the TDL they are likely going to have to give up a D prospect in return so they are calling up Woo as a means to see what he’s got at the NHL level to gauge his value.
Most likely there is an interested, or interested teams and their scouts want to see what he can do before they pull the trigger on a trade.
