Same old leafs
Leafs are so inconsistent
Goaltending has remained a question mark for the Leafs throughout this season. Should, due to Jones' having allowed 3 ugly goals, Samsonov start the upcoming Blues-Leafs' game and end up allowing 3 or more ugly goals, I believe the time will come for Treliving to waive Samsonov and, in said goalie's place, call up Dennis Hildeby, Keith Petruzzelli or Vyacheslav Peksa, with:
– it being unclear how soon Woll will be healthy enough to return (who knows if he'll return at any point before the Leafs have played their last game of the 2023-24 NHL season?)
– Hildeby and Petruzzelli under contact to the Leafs via the Marlies (AHL) and, unlike Samsonov, having sub-US$1-million per-season cap hits
– Peksa under contract to the Leafs via the Newfoundland Growlers (ECHL)
– Artur Akhtiamov currently out on loan and having yet to play, at any point during his contract with the Leafs, for a team not based in Russia
– Matt Murray out at least before the 2024 NHL postseason
Thank you for having a reasonable take on Reilly's cross-check! Heard a lot of these fans trying to fully excuse that, saying Ridley deserved it where he got hit. One thing I'd like to point out is that I think Ottowa sees the Leafs as their main rival in the division and always show up when you're in town or they fly in. I rarely see the Leafs players take the Sens games seriously, and with Ottowa manhandling you guys this season series, they felt it was time to make a statement. Rivals show up each other all the time, this is good for sports. Don't be so quick to cry about some gamesmanship, maybe take them seriously and try.
The Senators are having a bad season and Greig puts an exclamation point on the finishing goal against a good team. (The Leafs are a good team, right?) Good for Greig for playing with some passion. If the Leafs don't like it, then they should play with some passion and don't lose to a crap team.
There's a hell of a lot of money going into a mediocre production. Good for MR responding to that turkey head though.

Greig is a hero, you were the visitors in our barn suck it up Queef fans. You will miss the playoffs this year and btw you only have 5 more regulation wins than the Sens, your team is not that good, if it weren't for loser points youd be basement dwellers.

Sports is entertainment and Greig's slapper was definitely entertaining and gave the home fans what they wanted. I'm all for players showboating a bit if it means we get to see their personality a little more.
