Tim Thomas had a long road to the NHL. He was drafted in the 9th round in 1994 and didn’t play in his first NHL game until 2002. That didn’t stop him from eventually becoming a two time Vezina Trophy winner, a Conn Smythe winner, and a Stanley Cup champion with the Boston Bruins. He also had one of the best single seasons in NHL history during the 2010-11 campaign.
