I agree about offense but I also think Eller is a very capable player who could be a lot more consistent if he had good and consistent wingers… O'Connor and Puustinen tonight looks promising to me!
How do you fit anything under the cap without sending out a good player contract from the current roster
If the Penguins are going to be buyers at the deadline, they need to find their bottom 6 scoring touch. On defense, they need to find their "Ron Hainsey", whoever that may be this year.
We need Rust healthy and scoring ! We are really close to being in the hunt.

I’d imagine dubas will pick up a few players for cheap that hes hoping will help bottom 6 or bottom pairing, probably guys with another year under contract unless he thinks he can resign them.

I won't consider Jesse until he proves his health and signs. And when that happens, I believe you have to work him in minutes wise, so he starts on the 4th line. I wouldn't mess with the top two lines unless it's to drop doc to play with Eller and pusti. Rust or rak can be interchangable in the top 2.
Wasn’t a fan of EK65 joining us, still not sold on the fact we needed him. I think there is just too many cooks in the kitchen. EK is super high risk and I don’t think he’s the answer. RG, I’m a fan, but I don’t think he’s helping. Most goals allowed he was on the ice, he also looks confused out there. But, I will say I like how DOC has been playing, Rakell is feeling better and Puustinen is doing well
