Great breakdown.
Igor's a pro. If this was playoffs, perhaps 2 of those goals would've gotten past him.
Quick is finding his groove again bringing competition – Igor will elevate his game.
Quick wasn't going to go away silently – after 15 years in one franchise, now on the opposite Coast, it was going to take a few minutes for him to settle in.
Evidently he's settled in, for now.
Igor stood on his head for this team last playoffs. He'll do it again.
Frankly, this is the most boring time of the season. first 20 games,
These are not the teams we'll see in the playoffs.
I predicted that whichever middle of the pack team got an elite goalie tandem first, will be the one to break out this season.

I love Shesterkin, hate the Rangers, I want him to do well. My favorite thing with him however, is when Rangers play the Canes, do their "Igor" chant, then lose and us Canes fans chant "Igor" as we leave the building.
Shesterkin is so bad, we can take him over at the devils please

If you watch any NYR games you know that when Shesterkin is in net this year they play like they have the best goalie in the world back there and just give up ludicrous chances on a consistent basis in hopes that Igor will just smother it all down(sounds familiar doesn’t it?). When quick is back there the team is playing championship caliber hockey. Not taking anything away from quick as he’s been amazing and yes Igor hasn’t looked as sharp as normal, but he’s being hung out to dry an awful lot and it’s showing.
Anyone who thinks its his fault dont know hockey and dont know goaltending. His #'s are NOT even half of the full picture. Team gets lazy infront of him.
He’s the most overrated goalie I’ve ever seen. Ranger fans worship and chant him like he’s a god. Quick is wayyyyy older and playing better than him by a mile. This is what happens when you overrate a goalie after 1 really good year
