You can tell Vegas is completely exhausted. The most games played at Christmas, after winning the cup makes for a brutal schedule. Mix that with some key injuries and playing an AHL goalie, I’m surprised the last few games weren’t blow outs. Time for a well deserved break for the champions.

I'll confess, (stars fan here) I turned it off after the 1st nashville goal in the 2nd and went to play some Aliens, Stars just didn't look like they had it and I was pretty perturbed at the missed penalty shot and the puck over the glass that was knocked down by a coaching staff earlier to prevent a delay of game.

That was one of the most uneven games I’ve ever seen by a goaltender from Patera. Kept them in it and stopped a ton of shots, then inexplicably let in several softies. Not that they deserved to win anyway.

Vegas’ top 3 problems. Injuries, undisciplined play, and special teams dropping the ball. The amount of injuries isn’t bad but considering it includes both Goalies and their top scoring defenseman, it’s not great.
Man, I had thought that Forsberg got that extra goal in the end of the Stars game, then saw it hit the bar, and then was absolutely bewildered watching the final minute play out, great way to finish out this final stretch before Christmas, GO STARS

The dallas game being a matinee it was televised in Finland. And man what better game to watch. I felt like Nasville played a good first 50 minutes. I half watched the 3rd and felt like dallas had always the puck in the O-zone but I still felt like the Preds were gonna hold on. Not the case…
