Don’t really understand the lack of trust in Pickard nor Rodrigue. Both have 900+ save percentage and 2 gaa at AHL level. What do these two guys have to do to get a decent shot?
Still don't know why they don't package Campbell and broberg in a 3 way deal to improve rather goaltending. Chicago and San Jose goaltending situations are worse than ours so send the 2 of them to one of those teams and get a goalie from Montreal or Buffalo
My friend you tried to say it with sweet words, but that will not help you winning matches against a team which is as good as you are. I saw the problem in training him better, especially working with his gloves. The blocker is really bad and this could be trained. I hope he will get more motivation in doing that, also the staff. Wish him the best for the rest of the season.
Vasilevsky played out of his skin, and the Oilers have to shadow Stamkos better. That was the game in a nutshell. 57 GOOD shots on goal for only 4 goals – SHEEEESH!
Until Pickard drops the ball why are we writing him off? Maybe he comes out of nowhere and plays unreal, as a few championship goalies have done before. I'd like to see how long he plays well before Oilers make a goalie trade
We can say all we want about the situation with our team. I mean Jack Campbell and his contract. I've been checking out Flames Nation lately mostly because I think Markstrom would look good in an Oilers uniform, and I'm interested in what they're talking about when it comes to their goalie situation. They're really, really, really, unhappy with Huberdeau and his contract. They just rip him, saying that his contract is the worst in NHL history and that he's pretty much a third line player at best. Ouch! Almost personally insulting him. No one has ever talked about Campbell that way. I think Huberdeau gets something around 10 mil a year and he's not producing much. Now, back to Markstrom…….I think we have what they want, and they have what we want.
In the first period, the Oilers ran like a herd of sheep. ))😝😝 and as usual, a mediocre goalie can't do much about a team's poor defense.

Connor Brown ( – 10 ) ZERO goals and only 1 A in 22 games !! he started the season on the first line with McDavid, moved to the second line with Draisaitl, and is now on the third line with Kane. 🤑The Oilers clearly have no idea how to use a useless player.😜
The Oilers need the entire top 6 to score, not just Hyman, and all the players to contribute, not just the top line.😇😇

No point in making playoffs if they can't figure out the goaltending,if skinner can't handle regular season pressure he won't do anything in playoffs

I think Skinner didn't deserve to start the last game and that Pickard earned that start. Now we'll never know but Pickard better start tonight

Oilers will never win anything with Skinner. Keep hearing oilers need a goalie to play with Skinner. Maybe a #1 to play with Pickard.

Skinner had a poor start but the Oilers failed to put away the lightning in the 2nd, sucked in the 3rd. It was a team loss.

Skinner will be a number goalie very soon but just not this season. He need help from a veteran for another 2 season
Gibson in Anaheim is looking good, probably wouldn't be that expensive, because he asked for a trade.
