“Those were pivotal years in my career, the most important ones probably. The fact I got to spend them in an incredible city like Vancouver, I couldn’t be more grateful. So, this is why I’m excited for tonight.”

A win for LU would be nice…
Let’s go Canucks
Man I miss him in our jersey
Luuuuuuu! Should've been a jersey retirement.
LUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!
69th like
Love you Lu
Congratulations Roberto. Wish I could have been there tonight. We haven’t had a goalie we could rely on every night since you left. Wish you could have finished your career in Vancouver but your name will be in GM place/Rogers forever.
the ring of honour is such a joke, where the organization doesn't think you're good enough for a jersey retirement but still want to give you your flowers. I haven't seen any other organization do this second prize kinda BS. Lu deserves a jersey retirement. He's in the freaking hall of fame with the majority of his career highlights coming from playing in Vancouver. How does your own organization not even recognize you enough to get your jersey retired when the hall of fame does? makes no sense. Lu is a good sport for accepting the ring of honor, but he deserves better. when you've been iconic on and off the ice during your tenure with the Canucks and can't imagine any other player don the #1, then you know that's sufficient enough to get your jersey retired smh.
Louuuuuuu
They already retired his jersey in Florida it would be a little weird to retire it in Vancouver. That's probably why they're doing this ring of honour thing.
Game 1 vs Dallas in 2007, staying up past midnight. One of my most favorite and memorable moments from Luongo and it was his first playoff game
