  1. Noah Lyles is the best. I can't debate on that am proud of him. Keep up the good spirit I know coming August you'll be a world record holder

  2. The greatest thing about having such a high bar to chase, is that it's going to take no less than the absolute best from any sprinter to beat it.

A huge W for the fans!

  3. Looking at that finish again tells me Lyles may have been on 19.2 pace. He ran through the tape rather than lean forward which may have cost him precious 1/100ths of a second.

  4. Looking forward to seeing what Lyles can do this year in the 100/200! If he has improved his start (I think he has based on his new 60m pb and decent 100 times) then he might have a chance at podiuming in Budapest in the 100 and has a very good chance at winning the 200 with maybe even a wr along with it!

  5. 1. Noah Lyles 19.31 (NR)
    2. Kenny Bednarek 19.77
    3. Erriyon Knighton 19.80
    4. Joseph Fahnbulleh 19.84
    5. Alexander Ogando 19.93
    6. Jereem Richards 20.08
    7. Aaron Brown 20.18
    8. Luxolo Adams 20.47

  6. Lyle is illuminati!! He almost left his wig behind and yet he isn't breathing at the end on the race? That's something else!

  7. I think Lyles actually slowed a little bit in the final 15-20 meters or so. He can very well dip below 19.25 in Budapest this year. Something amazing awaits us for sure.

  8. This was Lyles perfect race. He might never see this time again. He did this in a +0.4 tailwind, while bolt did 19.19 into a 0.3 headwind. Just think on that how hard it will be to beat bolt's record. Lyles is making it seem like its not an easy record to beat.

  9. A prime on top of his game , healthy and motivated Usain would WHOOP an equally prime, healthy and motivated Lyles any time on both 200m and 100m and on any day of the week and twice on Sundays without breaking a sweat πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  10. if this is the best he can do then Bolt's record stays safe. MJ ran this way back in 1996 lol. Nowhere near touching the present WR

  11. In sprinting coming from 19:40 and bringing it down to 19:19 is a huge gap folks!.Lyle seems to have reached his peak at around 19:31, to get to 19:31 he had to run at full throttle with barely any extra gas left in the tank and that can easily be seen in the video (his body was fully stressed, not a relax body like when Bolt was under full acceleration) when he was accelerating!.

He will NEVER get it down from those hard to get 12mls ( 19:31 down to 19:19), sorry to pop your balloon kid but you are not the magic one to break Bolt's records both in the 200m and 100mπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚, not happening πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

I consider a much greater accomplishment what Elaine Thompson Herah and Sherika Jackson have achieved, respectively in the 200m and 100m, to get closer to breaking Flo Jo records!.They are within a few 9/7mls to do it instead of Lyle's 12 mls greater gap, the Jamaican sprinting QUEENS will surely get it done in our lifetime!

  12. Why do they only come along in ones? Lyles v Bolt would’ve been a lot more interesting than them both winning by 10 lengths

  13. around that turn there was zero chance anyone was catching noah on that day, he was scorching the track looked like a freight train coming down the lane.
