  1. The logo is terrible. They should have dumped the 4i and put a hybrid in there. Time will tell if they are good. But that logo will be hard to get over.

  2. Great content as always. I agree with most of your points except for two. I like the lofts as stated, no too strong and nicely gapped. Secondly, I actually think this set is under priced. $599 would be fair and competitive plus it might would lessen the "scalper" impact. If Costco is still offering the box sets like the Callaway ones, then the game improvement population would still have an option. Thanks for the platform!

  3. They sell out because they know they can return them. I played the wedges for six month and returned them because I loss 10 yards from my SM8 and RTC Zipcores, but they were good.

  4. I went with the Takomo 101. The shaft on the Kirkland's are 115 grams vs 95 grams on the Takomo KBS Tour Light Shaft and at $489 4-PW. I would've probably tried these KS if they came out earlier, but that logo is just way too big. The Takomos feel just like my friends TM790s but at 1/3 the price.

  5. They are basically the Taylor made irons p790.. I’m a 3 handicap and I love the wedges … they perform great … there will be a big gap between PW and Gap wedge

  6. None of your cons really apply to me… I'm not a lefty, there still cheaper than anything not STC, i would go with a P790 over just about any iron on the market, the shaft will make little to no difference for 98% of golfers, the lofts are industry standard. Finally, the looks??? If your mind is going about what the back of the club says when it's behind the ball… you probably already hit a bad shot. I guess… in 2023 it's just easy to nitpick everything to death.

  7. Would a mid to low handicap golfer really look at these clubs, cheap shafts with no upgrade possible, they are not forged. If a player is swinging the P790 or even a Cobra Forged Tec are these better?

  8. Agree – should have been game-improvement or even super game-improvement. Golfer who are good enough for players irons get fitted.

  9. How can you have a pros and cons without actually having the iron in person and hitting them. This is just all speculation

  10. Once you get them and have tried them, i would like to know which set is the better buy Kirkland, Takomo or another more expensive make.
Given you can't try before you buy an honest review would be welcome.

  11. The group that would buy this tier would want to be fitted. I’m surprised they didn’t go full game improvement with a 5 thru gap.
