New Guaranteed Graded Card Box 🔥

Are the Bruins cup favourites? If not, who is and why?
Winning culture, s tier scouting, fleece in trades
As a Montreal fan, this movie disgusts me, but in all seriousness they have a winning mindset and everybody buys in, just like he said with Pittsburgh 10 years ago, I feel like it’s a dying mindset as players are more convinced that it’s better to be on the cover of vogue magazine as opposed to lifting the cup
They dont go away but they dont win cups. Bergeron and Marchand together and they only got 1 cup. Vegas is as good or better than Boston, and this is their 7th season ever.
Superb use of Goldeneye soundtrack
Pasta (and others) understand that if they get a little less, their chances of getting to hoist the Cup increase if the entire team buys into the philosphy
Sadly the idea of taking a discount for Canadian teams hasn't been a thing. With the taxes and exchange rate I think a lot of players feel they're already "taking a discount" playing up here. The lack of support from the league over this handicap is a big reason the Cup hasn't been home in over 3 decades.
The big teams normally win the cup st Louis Vagas Washington even Pittsburgh have big hitting player fast teams are fewer
It's the smart thing to do overall as a player, I'd say. That discount gets a lot smaller when you consider agent cut, taxation, etc.
I love you Robby ❤
Garbage organization with no ethics or morals
They going to lose in the first round again hehe 😉
They shoulda kept Iron Phil Kessel
They might be the greatest choke artists in NHL history. Next to Tampa losing to CBJ
defense wins! Anyone who follows sports knows that.
Big Bruins fans since the 80s and I don't have this unrealistic expectation of them playing for the cup this year. Yes they have 2 great goalies and solid defense but the last 2 games proved that Bergeron and Krejci left a huge void in the middle. I'll just enjoy the season 1 game at a time.
Let's not forget that while people love to call Minnesota "the state of hockey", Massachusetts is flooded with talent and even average citizens are knowledgeable about and many even have played hockey. Most of the US's best talent comes from the area, and they have the original 6 history to encourage free agents from elsewhere as well. The Bruins have made a lot of great decisions in recent history, and that focus on winning grit has paid off well. But they have some inbuilt advantages as well.
lmao rob u showed brady in his bucs championship year
idrc if the BRUINS do as long as HE goes away🤣
8:00 by god Chara is a monster, almost seems unfair
yo guelphite here
its not pronounced potraws
its pwa truss
The main thing is likely pressure. It’s similar to Toronto in a way, but we know not to find a scapegoat for every loss. Also, I think their management speaks to them. Think about it. Within the last 3-5 years, have there really been bad additions to the roster? Let’s have a listing.
JVR is proving himself worthy as of right now when he looked like desperation signing.
Hampus Lindholm met the standard of his contract.
Taylor Hall proved himself against Washington.
It took a year for Foligno, but he turned into some of the aggressiveness we lacked.
Linus Ullmark won the Vezina.
Tyler Bertuzzi was amazing come playoffs.
Dmitry Orlov had a really hot start.
Hathaway provided more of that Bruins aggression needed.
Derek Forbort can occasionally be the best defenseman on the team.
Halak proved how good of a backup he could be for Tuukka.
Haula adapted to a center man role better than expected.
Zacha is playing out of him mind and is making Devils fans cry.
Even Ian Mitchell is proving he knows how to play.
Genuinely the only bad arrival we had in Boston I can think of in recent years is Geekie, and that’s because I literally struggle to come up with any other name. And Geekie is still doing well.
The Boston Bruins Won't GO AWAY……. till the first round.
as someone who hates the bruins, i don’t really want them to go away, a team that always collapses in the playoffs is way more satisfying to watch then a team that is just straight up dogshit
The Redwings team had numerous players take pay cuts to get Brett Hull on the team. ….AND THEY WON THE CUP!!
oh theyll go away alright. they're one of the best teams in the league at choking. the only reason they won in 2011 is because the canucks choked harder than them.
My team!
Bruins historically are allowed to get away with dirty play and if you respond at all you get a penalty 🤷🏻♂️
The Bruins have worked to build a culture where players think more about their trophy case over their bank accounts. The Patriots got a 20 year dynasty from it in the NFL. And the Atlanta Braves have built the same kind of culture in recent years in the MLB.
Small thing, but you said no defenseman should go up for a rush unless they're Cale Makar or Quinn Hughes. The issue is that you forgot about Adam Fox, who, before getting injured had 11 points in 10 games.
Team> Stars. Always has been, always will.
And speaking as a B's fan- look at you, Vancouver! We might not go away, but talk about a comeback, good on ya!
0:14 The disrespect on Brad Stuart (and to a lesser extent Wayne Primeau)
Must have been hard to make being a canucks fan and all lol… as much as I'm happy they stay relevant, I know a retool/build is coming soon. And hopefully, it won't last like the ducks/canadians/sabers… did.
The first part is debatable. They didn’t so well in the 2015 draft and in other drafts
i think another reason is that a lot of players want to live in MA. They start a family and raise children with lots of good schools to choose from. It's not perfect but Boston is definitely a better place to be than some other teams cities. not naming any
the Devils GM is trying to model after the Bruins and has had some success with getting players to take a paycut in order to help the team but devensive system part of it is still a struggle and I don't know if Ruff is the person for the job. The last 10+ games have been awful defense wise with breakaways and 2 on 1's happening 2-5 times a game.
Getting Hischier (captain) back seemed to get them to playing the right way last game and hopefully it continues or I think Ruff is gone.
Good video!
It’s crazy how a few seasons ago the issue with the Bruins was they weren’t getting depth scoring at all and their top line carried them almost every season and now it’s like they get everything going. Their main issue nowadays is defense as we saw it collapse in last years playoffs
Everybody knows its Buttman team
81k likes with 6.5k views… interesting 😂😂😂😂
They've given up 18 goals in the last 4 games, they are coming back to earth this year. But, credit to Don Sweeney.
b's system is ranked dead last at 32. b's have no grade a prospects. b's have no 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, in '24 draft and no 2nd, 4th in '25 draft. And sweeney will trade more picks away this tdl to choke in post-season once again. yeah that will catch up to b's eventually. And bettman and jacobs are bu-tt buddies. And go get jpg from isles at tdl.
I'm not even a Bruins fan, but this video was great and well done. Subscribing!
Frederic and Beecher are both important players to this team that you just kind of ignored.
Didn't "shatter" Montreals 40 year old record. Played more games and had the advantage of OT & SO wins. Actual winning % was less than Montreals. That being said it was very impressive what they did last year
Best travel schedule in the nhl
"The Boston Bruins would cause a paradigm shift, as they would show you could bully your way to a Stanley Cup". I'm sorry but bullshit. Remember when the Ducks stopped being the Mighty Ducks and they were more free to play the game the way they wanted too and they didn't have to answer to Disney? They were the heaviest team in the league. They were nicknamed the Fighty Ducks and they won the cup that season that way. The Ducks were the team that showed everyone would you could bully your way to the cup. If anything that ducks team was a big part of why Boston ended up constructing it's 4th line the way it did.
