    healthy slash on Fantilli 1st period right in front of ref, okay so we are going to let them play. yeah, it does matter. Columbus drops back to protect lead in 3rd in D zone coverage witch never works for them and here comes the onslaught of shots ,and game over . looking better but not there

    Columbus just does not know how to manage games where they have a lead. You just had a feeling Carolina was going to come back and win the game they kept the pressure on and kept winning faceoffs and pounding Columbus in their own zone the last 10 minutes. Columbus has a tendency to play on their heels with the lead they need to be more on their toes

    Kochetkov looked solid and just experienced some Hurricanes luck with those 2 muffins. It’s amazing to see svech score but, it’s also nice to see KK pick up a point after he’s been without one for 7 games. Big big comeback.

    I was at the game tonight. I was mad about how slow, sloppy, and uninterested the Canes looked those first two periods. Especially coming off that 8-2 beatdown from Tampa. Then I was like "sh*", now we are down 0-2 in the 3rd and I drove 90m to go to the game today–my last chance at a positive sports moment over the weekend. Then the Canes get 1 and I was like… 1 more to tie. Then we get that tying goal pretty fast and I was like, I really don't want to have an OT game on the night I go back into work on Monday at 6am. Then we got that 3rd and I was like "whew". The Canes have to get their minds right… and get some consistency… We know what we got is good, we got to play like it.

    Missed this game bc I thought it started an hour later lmao. When I noticed it was on, I figured I hadn't missed much because it was still 0-0, but tuned in for a little bit of the 3rd and wished I'd gotten to see the whole thing :/

    As a jackets fan its tough Elvis isn’t the best goaltender of all time but in games like this you wanna yell at the guys in front he can only do so much

    Carolina out played the Jackets the entire game. Columbus getting some good looks here and there. Elvis was huge. Kochetkov was also solid. Both goals he let up were fluky. Hurricanes were making way too many passes again. They need to simplify their game. Net front and shoot!!!!! The PP is a bad system. That umbrella with no net front hasn't worked in 4 years now!!! PP unit is on the ice for way too long. Good puck movement but nobody in front of the net and they are not getting the puck to Terevainen for his shot.

    Canes fans were about to have a depressing week. I’m guilty of negativity but learned to never give up on this team. They know they have the talent and need to feed on the confidence from this win. Canes have always played as a group with everyone contributing but Svetch is a star and really gets the crowd going. He is a sweet , charismatic kid.

    The Canes just can't find the back of the net this season… no puck luck… not much net-front presence. Good to see them keep at it for rebounds for once though! And no… the fans were not booing when PK made saves… they were yelling 'KOOOOOOOCH!'
